The City of Tampa Department of Solid Waste & Environmental Program Management is providing the following debris disposal options for City of Tampa residents in response to the storm on March 31, 2011.

Hub Grub Ride
The 2nd Annual Hub Grub Ride takes place on April 2nd from 3-7pm. The ride travels to various restaurants and businesses in Seminole Heights. This is a very popular event in the area and highly recommended for everyone from occasional bicyclers to hard-core endurance bicyclers.

Tampa S.W.E.E.P in Seminole Heights
Every year, the City of Tampa runs the S.W.E.E.P. (formerly NEAT) program in the city where the garbage department will clean up large trash items. The program runs in a section of the neighborhood for a week and your trash must be piled up by the curb until it is picked up. Only one pickup per house is permitted. Collection only takes place Monday through Friday.

SE Seminole Heights General Membership Meeting with TECO
Southeast Seminole Heights Civic Association has their general membership meeting at the Kathryn Malone center on Tuesday, March 15th. SESHCA President, Sherry Simons, has invited OSH residents to attend and join the Q&A session with TECO. TECO will have several representatives there to answer questions relating to recent power outages, tree trimming issues, and right-of-way issues.

Henry & Ola Park Soccer Schedule
In addition to the new soccer goals that OSHNA & OSHPC purchased for the Henry & Ola sports park complex, OSHNA is sponsoring a Seminole Heights team. If you are interested in having your child join a team or would just like to watch a bit of soccer, the game schedule is included below and is also located on the Resources page.
