2019 Home Tour

Our 2019 Home Tour will be held on April 7, 2019.

This will be our 21st annual Home Tour.  The OSHNA Home Tour is Tampa’s oldest and best attended home tour, supporting our mission “to promote and encourage the preservation and restoration of the area know as Seminole Heights while revitalizing a sense of community in a safe and healthy residential neighborhood”. The tours average attendance is between 750 and 1000. We utilize over 100 volunteers to make the tour a success.

In addition to showcasing our neighborhood, this is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The funds raised from the tour go towards our operating budget and to direct improvements to the neighborhood. Some of our  improvements have been the murals on the Wine Bar Cafe, Smith’s Sandpaper Shop, and The Angry Chair. We have contributed funds to such projects as the playground at the Wayne C. Papy Center, soccer goals at Henry and Ola Park, a bike rack at the Library, and art benches at Patterson Park. We have sponsored activities such as the Summerfest at the Seminole Heights Library, quarterly happy hours, monthly porch parties, and our Holiday Social. Our Greenspace Committee has used funds to complete landscape improvement projects at The American Legion, Seminole Heights United Methodist Church, and Hillsborough High School. Every year we contribute funds to a charity in the area that benefits our neighbors such as the Center 4 Girls, Frances House, and Pyramid.

There are lots of ways that you can help make this years tour a huge success. You may want to consider showcasing your home on the tour or volunteer to help on the day of the tour. If you are a local business, please consider sponsoring this year’s tour. If you are unable to participate in one of these ways, we hope to see you on the tour!
