TBX introduces variable rate tolls that tax citizens who use them twice TBX will dramatically affect the city & county negatively. It destroys historic residences, buildings and businesses in Tampa’s urban core. It is NOT what residents have told planning official they want. I-275 & I-4 Expansion Tearing Through Heights Communities

Florida Ave. For the past several weeks, we have been working to develop an educational forum about FDOT’s Tampa Bay Express (TBX) project, in conjunction with our community partners, Sunshine Citizens, Tampa Heights Junior Civic Association, The Heights Collective and the Urban Charrette. In preparation for our goal to PACK the MPO Board Meeting on Aug. 4th with HUNDREDS of people, we designed this educational forum for anyone who wants to know more about FDOT’s Tampa Bay Express (TBX) plans to put toll lanes on Bay Area interstates. This is a can’t miss event for anyone who wants to know more about this project and its impacts, and for anyone who wants to learn how they can do their part to help. Resident Leadership Development Course Available

The CDC of Tampa is holding a Resident Leadership Development training course. The goal of the course is to learn how to effectively address future challenges and emerge as Community Leaders. This exclusive training is taught by your local community leaders and is available to anyone 18 years and above living within the boundaries of : NORTH to Sligh Ave; SOUTH to I-4; EAST to HWY 301; WEST to I-275.
