It's Quarterly General Meeting time!

We are very excited to hold our next quarterly General Membership Meeting in person (and via a Zoom hybrid) this coming Tuesday, April 26 from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. The meeting will be at the Seminole Heights Branch Library, 4711 N Central Ave.

Our agenda includes:

City of Tampa Parking Division Manager Fed Revolte will be coming to discuss the parking challenges in several locations of our neighborhood.

HART board member Tyler J. Hudson will be sharing an update on the 1% Sales Tax as it moves forward to the November ballot.

We will recap the 22nd Annual Home Tour and honor our generous neighbors who opened their homes for the event as well as present Gracepoint with a donation to their Coffee Shop from the Home Tour proceeds.

Goodbye Lynn, Hello Josh!

The OSHNA board of trustees wishes a bittersweet farewell to Lynn Hurtak, who exited the board earlier this month after being appointed to Tampa City Council.

We thank Lynn for all her hard work over the years — especially on these Bungalow Alerts! — but congratulate her on her new role. We are proud one of our own is now in City Hall!

Replacing Lynn on the board is Josh Frank. Josh is an urban designer with a long legacy of civic involvement and is well-positioned to add his tremendous expertise to our neighborhood. Welcome, Josh!

Tree Survey

It is time… Did you know every 5 years we look at how our tree canopy is changing? That’s why USF and the City of Tampa are evaluating this change and asking for your feedback by completing the survey. The survey, available in English and Spanish, is anonymous.

Your opinion will be important for the success of the project as it is key to help develop plans for maintaining and increasing our tree blueprint.
