As you may know by now, the TPO Board rejected our motion to remove funding for I-275 expansion from Hillsborough to Bearss from the Long Range Transportation Plan. In the end, we were unable to sway any votes from the members of the TPO Board who favored the project.

Due to lasting impacts of Hurricane Milton, tomorrow's Porch Party is canceled. Our Neighborhood Involvement Committee is hard at work putting together a replacement event for next month, and we look forward to seeing you then.

Last week's hurricane brought a storm surge that severely affected many homes in Old Seminole Heights and has displaced numerous OSHNA members. We're proud that our community has come together to support our neighbors as best we can, and OSHNA will continue to work with everyone to the best of our abilities. Affected neighbors have expressed their deep thanks for the offers of housing, food, and laundry assistance as they attempt to put their homes and lives back together.
